Toro Toro Sushi + Poke is a new restaurant concept that’s setting the bar for premium, fast-casual sushi. Every brand touchpoint was developed to deliver a modern and casually refined experience.

We wanted to challenge the fast-casual norm by going above and beyond in high-quality ingredients, sustainably sourced fish, and a meticulous packaging. The team behind Toro Toro is ambitiously creative–from recipe development to limited edition product releases traditionally found at high-end sushi restaurants.

This was a comprehensive, full service project with everything from brand naming, visual design, packaging, to a website built on Squarespace.

As mentioned on BlogTo as the "prettiest sushi takeout boxes" and widely shared all over social media.

Naming Toro Toro

Part of this brand process was naming the restaurant concept, Toro Toro. It's ingredient-forward, doubles as a conversational phrase in Japanese dining, and it's just fun to say.
